B. L. Deakins Ministry includes my wife Tina, our daughter Daye and me, Bradylane Deakins. Were the Deakins family and Jesus is Lord!!! Individually each one of us make up the whole ministry team. Our goal is to be like Jesus all the time. And praise God we are after Him!! Life is Great!! As a family we have been in some storms just like anyone else in the faith life. I have been stomping on cancer since the first of the year. Tina has been raising our daughter, and taking care of me while I endure chemo treatments. In all these things we are more than conquerors through Christ and He causes us always to triumph!!! Why would we share all this on a web-site and be so open about it. Number one, to stir you to pray for us. Number two, so you could ask the Lord if there is anything He would speak to your heart about helping us with, whether that be comming out to our house and helping with chores, cook a meal, doing laundry or dishes, baby sit, etc. You know things that have to be done everyday that no one wants to do. Or perhaps sow a financial contribution to help with bills, nutritional suppliments, Chemotherapy perscriptions (That are outrageous), groceries, doctor bills, gas to go to doctor every week (sometimes two and three times), christmas clothes for daye, etc. And number three , because we want to be open face with our family, friends, and ministry family as well. We are not embarassed to ask for help or to let anyone know what we are going through. I believe many are going through something difficult in one way or another. Galatians 6:2 Bear ye one another's burden, and so fufill the law of Christ. The Bible tells me we should consider one another, to love one another (Jn. 13:34-35)and then to gird each other up through prayer, community fellowship, and by means of lending a helping hand. (Jn.15:12;Ro.12:10; Phl.2:3-4) Well if we don't make our situation known to others, can God speak to peoples hearts concerning our situation? Jesus taught us,"ask and you shall receive, seek and you shall find, knock and the door will be opened unto you: For everyone that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened." (Mt.7:7-8) So that's what we've done. Knock, knock, knock, could you help us? Thanks for all your prayers and contributions. You know who you are. We are so gratefull for you. We know the Lord sees your giving heart and we pray He will increase you in every area. It's so encouraging to know people do care and walk in the Lords' unfailing love, as he walked in His earthly ministry. Jesus, our example. He was never to busy to make time for others in need. THAT!
